Great cross country skiing. No rentals available on the hill and these must be sorted out in town from somewhere like MEC or Fresh Air Experience.

Situated in the hills with its closest access just 20 minutes east of Kelowna BC, on highway 33, the Kelowna Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Club has been providing a unique ski experience since 1977. Rustic facilities, friendly club members and 75 km of beautiful wooded ski trails, coupled with state-of-the-art grooming and track-setting, define our club. The icing on the cake is the 75 km of snowshoe trails, many with panoramic views.

If you want to get off the mountain, but still enjoy the great outdoors you should head to the Kelowna Nordic Ski and Snowshoe club. Just a 20-30min drive from Big White this place has some of the best Nordic skiing in the area. Just a heads up, this is a rustic facility! You must bring your own skis or snowshoes and be prepared to use the outdoor bathrooms.
