The base of the pyramids are 15-20 minutes walk from the carpark. You can also take the time to. walk to the top of the small pyramid on the well maintained walking track.

One of Dunedin's many remote but spectacular beaches, The Pyramids is great for hikers, those with an interest in rock formations, wild beaches and wildlife. It's a hidden gem.
