Long Island Railroad Train Station which will take you to New York City. Buy ticket for Babylon -> Pennsylvania Station (Penn Station) for NYC. Make sure you check if train is peak or not (weekends always off peak.) Download MTA eTix if you're running late and have charge in your phone because then you can just buy a ticket in app and not have to rush at the machine. Also, I recommend downloading LIRR TrainTime to see schedules.
