An hour and a half drive from Cuenca, you can find Ecuador's largest Incan ruins and archaeological complex include the Temple of the Sun, a large oval construction once used for ritual and astronomical purposes.

Way way up, these ruins are at about 11,000 ft altitude. You will want a jacket and hat and possibly gloves. It is cool up there. There is a restaurant very close to the ruins that operates out of a 600 year old home, that you also don't want to miss. Best time to go is early in the morning so that you can have the place to yourself for picture taking without other people getting in the way.

por qué queda muy cerca y aparte es muy seguro,pero lo mejor es que podrán experimentar como vivían los pueblos cañaris, también pueden comprar artesanías y deleitar los platos típicos de la zona
