No trip to this area is complete without visiting one of our wild West coast beaches, complete with pounding surf and black sand. This vast beach is also a popular spot for exercising horses.
Check the tide times. Be prepared to share the beach. Maybe pick up some fish and chips from the famous Fitzies or make a reservation at Agave Restaurant high above the beach.
Bring a surfboard or we have a local surf instructor who can help out. Otherwise a perfect spot to pick up fish and chips and pop down to for a relax.

A stunning, seriously long black sand beach! Perfect on a good sunny day, is more of a 35-45 minute drive but is a lovely beach. Pack a lunch! not a lot out there in terms of food outlets but the township is only about 10-15 minute drive from the actual beach.
