The Island Craft Shop at 329 US Route 2 in South Hero Village is the oldest artisan cooperative in Grand Isle County, Vermont. It was founded in 1991 by a group of talented Champlain Island crafters including Sue Alenick, Mary Jane Healy and Ethel Schuele This is a member-owned and operated business. Over the years, the shop has moved several times and members have come and gone, but the Island Craft Shop continues to offer some of the best and most innovative Vermont products.

Our dear friend Stephanie has her beautiful pottery at this shop. She makes poppy pots and beautiful trays made from clay pressed in old Vermont barn boards. Worth a visit to see these and the other artists on display.
