Fun experience - 30 miles from the cabin. Great scenic views with pull offs along the way for pictures. Takes you to a different place in time. Relax and enjoy.

See Buffalo on your way out to eat a Buffalo Burger at Swinging Bridge Cafe. Walk across the Swinging Bridge to the other side of the Gift shop. Feed the catfish outback. Which came first the Chicken or the Cow?

Paint Bank, VA. Locally owned and wonderful Bison burgers and other menu selections. A beautiful scenic drive.

Paint Bank is only a 40 minute drive through beautiful Sweet Springs Valley and across Peter's Mountain. Swinging Bridge Restaurant is a great place to have lunch or dinner and check out their general store or gift shop. Especially fascinating around the holidays.
