This is the one of the best places to eat on Leith Walk .... if you do decide to go here you are advised to book well well well in advance to guarantee a a table space! Well worth it though!

Good value bistro food, interior quite rustic, has a regular clientele so booking advised. 15 minutes walk from flat.
