Big portions, comfort food, hangover specials. This is a Santa Cruz institution. I've never been myself but others who've gone there have raved about it. you have to be in the mood for some serious carbo loading here.

A personal favorite, the Spur served large, American style breakfast and lunch. A locals favorite spot, great staff, nice people. They are closed on Sundays.
