You might imagine that, no matter how good a French-trained pâtissier’s cakes might be, you would eventually have your fill and tire of them. Not here. Behind the walled-off glass terrace you’ll find cakes that you’ll want every single day. I’m in love. The shortcake here does not let up. How can the cream be so luxurious and yet the cake is still so welcoming? It seems to be drawn to me! Or maybe that’s just my imagination?
