An incredible mediaeval fortress that overlooks and is surrounded by Lake Trasimeno. It is connected by an enclosed passageway to the della Corgna Palace, whose walls are covered with Renaissance-period frescoes. Entrance is from the palace, and with the same ticket you visit the palace and the castle. In the castle you can go up one of the towers (many steps to climb!) and enjoy beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding picturesque countryside.
