Franklin Park is home to Boston's Zoo, as well as the second oldest public golf course in the country. This 485 acre link in the Emerald Necklace is also a favorite training spot for area cross country teams, due to the extensive trails.

Enjoy hiking int eh Winderness and open spaces for picnics and sports. You can walk a loop around the Golf Course that takes about an hour and takes you through gorgeous ponds and old stone structures.
