Located right in front of the Russian embassy in the Miramar district, Calle 70 is a favorite among Havana surfers who know the north coast’s surf spots. The break is unique because the rocky bed under the water makes the surf move very fast. When the north winds come in, the waves can get up to 3 meters high or more. The beach has sharp coral reefs, so you have to be very careful. I recommend wearing booties.
