$$$ (5 miles) Nice pontoon boats to rent. We like to pack a picnic and rent one for a Wednesday late afternoon/evening and head over to Bay Pointe for their Gun Lake Live concerts. You can also pull up to the public dock at Pronto Pup/Froggy's/Lakeside Pizza to get some food to go.
