Welcome to The Giant Periwinkle, a boutique winery just outside Baardskeerdersbos near Gansbaai. The small and exclusive wine farm forms part of the Agulhas Wine Route and is a sought after destination for lovers of the pressed grape. White and red wines produced at The Giant Periwinkle, have been welcomed by the wine community and recognised by the John Platter Wine Guide that has awarded its wines with 4 and 4.5 stars. Expect wines ranging from eminently quaffable to connoisseur, true to their terroir at the Southern tip of the Overberg’s wine kingdom. Wine tasting and sales at The Giant Periwinkle are by appointment.

Part of our Walker Bay Fynbos Conservancy and some more local award winning wines. Pre-bookings advised out of season but a definite must visit if you are a wine lover!!!!!!!
