Lake Coffey is The Cottage’s namesake, and one of our favorite places to walk around! The lake has beautiful views, seasonal fishing, and two trailheads for those who love to hike!

A small quaint lake that is a great circular loop for a walk. There’s a small dock and a fun covered walkway. Fishing is allowed May to October.

About 0.4 Miles away Hiking distance from the Serenity Cottage. Great place to fishing, canoeing and for just take time off and relax.

For those who enjoy or would love to try their hand at fishing, Beech Mountain is a great destination. One of the best spots for fishing here is Lake Coffey, one of the lakes that are annually stocked with fish by the Wildlife Resources Commission. The lake is best for delayed harvesting of trouts, particularly brown, rainbow, and brook trouts. A gentle reminder to those who want to fish at Lake Coffee, a regular inland license to fish must be obtained first!
