If you would like a day in the Mountains the Refuge of Lagdei and Lago Santo Serves excellent Parma style mountain cuisine. Leave early in the morning from Casa Gioanna and go for Lunch at either of the refuges - Lago Santo or Lag dei, which are separated by a 10 minute cable car ride (only open on the weekend) or an hours walk - the glacial lakes are glorious in all seasons and so is the walking and food and wine at the end of a small or longer hike ! Here you can each the ridgeline in 2.30mins. Please consult naomi before you head up the mountain as every season has its different circumstances to be aware of!

A 1250 m s.l.m e’ un Punto tappa fondamentale per le partenze delle escursioni nel Parco Nazionale dell’Appennino Tosco Emiliano e Parco dei 100 Laghi. Da qui parte il sentiero che, con un’ora di trekking e 250 m circa di dislivello, o la seggiovia che conduce al Lago Santo Parmense situato a 1500 m s.l.m. Al rifugio si mangia bene. Consigliabile prenotare!
