A mountain bike / hiking trail just outside of Lyons. This one gets heavy mountain bike traffic but is still worth hiking. If you go far enough, you can see where much of the stone on the buildings at the University of Colorado was quarried. Definitely one of our favorite trails to run and bike on.

Take this trail out the back door for awesome hiking and biking on this trail. Or hit the Hall Ranch trailhead a few miles away. Bohn, Sandstone and Meadow Park are within walking distance with river fun, tennis, rock climbing, picnics or great music. Enjoy the Thursday night free concerts and farmer market in the summer.

This is a beginner to intermediate mountain biking trail. It's very fun and beautiful. There is a big loop at the very top to extend your ride from the bench. Once you pass the silo (in photo), it does get more technical the rest of the way up. Visit Dave at the Redstone Cyclery for your bike needs!

A favorite easy ride to do right from town. You can continue up this trail to connect to Heil Ranch Trail and end up at Lee Hill in Boulder if you want to do a long run/ride.
