Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. Hilo is the worlds' orchid capital and the botanical garden has one of the worlds' best orchid gardens with hundreds of rare species! There are picnic tables at the bottom of the trail/garden with incredible ocean views! We recommend you bring a lunch and picnic there.

Botanical Gardens The Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden is 40 acres of tropical plants and a nature lover’s paradise, located in the Onomea Valley. The Garden is home to over 2000 plant species. The garden has numerous trails, beautiful streams, waterfalls, a bird aviary, orchid garden and ocean vistas. Bring mosquito repellant!
