This is a great place to sit by Lake Michigan and take in the sounds of the waves hitting the rocks, the tint of greenish blue water, and the solitude. I love this area by Northwestern University because it's special to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city on certain occasions.

This beach has the pretties rocks in all of Chicago and Evanston beaches.

The closest beach is a 20 minute walk. Lake Michigan is beautiful any time of year and the neighborhoods between here and there are gorgeous as well.

For summer visits - this beach is large and quiet. There is an $8 per day charge, but we have beach tokens you can borrow for free.
