Excellent reinterpretation of typical Mexican cuisine, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served, preferably reservation for meals and dinners. Breakfasts on weekends are very saturated, you have to arrive early. In charge of Chef Gerardo Vázquez Lugo, recognized for his Mexican culinary proposal. $$$$

FONDA MAYORA $$ Gerardo Vázquez Lugo has brought to his new Condesa venture, Fonda Mayora, the dedication to tradition and local ingredients that made his restaurant Nico’s a draw for chefs. The jugo verde — a mix of cactus, celery and orange juice — arrives dark and frothy. Try the huevos encamisados, eggs cooked on a griddle inside a puffy tortilla, served with tasty bean stew (ask for salsa roja, a piquant sauce of tomato and guajillo chiles).
