San Acacia Cabin, Country living at it's Finest!Quiet and Beautiful Country Living. Wi-Fi is throughout the Cabin. Huge, covered parking. Smells and noises of country life. You can hear the coyotes and occasional dogs barking at night (I have several dogs). I have two steers in a pen not far from the Cabin. Guests are welcome to wander the property. Besides the steers I have goats, ducks, and chickens. Fresh eggs are always available.
Bosquecito Preserve - birder's retreat on the RioThis light and bright ranch-style house sits on 25 acres with the Rio Grande as the western boundary. It is a great location for wildlife observations, hiking, stargazing, and general exploring of miles of adjacent public lands. Bosque del Apache NWR is about 20 minutes south, San Antonio is nearby, and Socorro is 20 minutes north for shopping. Birding is great here. It's quiet and peaceful, with plenty of room to spread out. There is basic wifi at the house limited to browsing and email.
Lone Pine InnConverted 1942 lumber and hardware store. Close to main street, 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed with twin trundle. Plenty of floor in the living room for multiple cots/air mattresses (1 Queen air mattress provided). Non-smoking. Pets are welcome, fenced area in the back. Large parking area for RVs, trailers, or multiple vehicles. I'm the owner Cindi Smith and I grew up here. Our town has perfect weather and lots to do. Come visit us!

Located 10 mins from Socorro, near restaurants, a brewery and the Institute of Mines. We are 20-30 minutes from the Bosque del Apache and Ladd S. Gordon Waterfowl complex. Horse back riding and excursions into the high dessert, to San Lorenzo Canyon, and to see old mines or Petroglyphs, can be arranged w/notice.

The Casa Javelina is a hundred year old house moved to Magdalena in the 1920's from a silver mining ghost town 30 miles away. It has been renovated but retains a lot of character. Whole house rental, 2 Br, 1 Bath, 900 sq ft, 6500 ft elevation in town, 11,000 ft mountains a few miles away. Partially Solar Powered! Horse Friendly- adjoining horse pen in back.
Located on 20 acres in rural New Mexico, only 15 minutes from Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge. Resting on the banks of the Rio Grande River, the property abounds with its own wildlife---owls, turkeys, hawks, and deer as well as beautiful native plants. Originally built in early 1900s, the Casita de Rancho Querencia, was acquired by the current owner in 1985, and he has renovated it twice, most recently in 2018. The main four-square part of house has 10-ft high pressed tin ceilings. The casita boasts a modern kitchen stocked with basic cooking essentials, and a nice sized clean bathroom with a clawfoot tub. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and flatscreen TVs, and a separate sitting room. Pricing is based on # of beds used, below.
