This small, but lovely park is just across the road from downtown Gresham. You can get there by walking or biking the Springwater Trail, as well. It has a small Japanese garden with ducks and play structures for the kids.

This privately owned park is just up the Hwy 26 past Sandy, on the right-hand side. (Look for the sign.) This park is ADA accessible if someone is in a chair. Only an hour away, the Fruit Loop is busy during the summer months. Buy produce, wool yarn, wine, etc. directly from the farms. It makes for a nice day's drive.

If you're looking for something out of print--go here. The children's books section alone is worth it. There's also a coffee shop. Parking is scarce and their parking garage is SCARY, so take the MAX.

There are closer MAX stops, but this is the closest Park & Ride station. Personally, I always take the MAX when I can. I get to listen to my audio books and do some people watching.

This is a really nice restaurant on the Sandy River. I think they only do dinner, and it isn't cheap. But if you're looking for a romantic night out, this is a great spot.
