Day Hike
If you're looking for a hike that is awe inspiring and refreshing, but not too strenuous, I highly recommend Wahclella Falls in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. A mile in you'll find a beautiful punch bowl fall flowing into a crystal clear, cold river. This is my go to hike vs. the packed Multnomah Falls for a quick day hike. Stop by the fish hatchery and Bonneville Dam across the street and say hi to pre-historic looking Herman the Sturgeon! If you have extra time, the town Cascade Falls has freshly caught and smoked salmon offered by the Native Americans and the Locks to check out.
Parking pass required and available at trail head. There is free parking a bit up the road.
