Battle Ground Lake State Park is a 275-acre public recreation area located three miles northeast of the city of Battle Ground, Washington. The state park is covered by an evergreen forest located around a crater lake of volcanic origin.  Nice park with trails to walk, BBQ pits, Tennis courts, a good place for your family

Within a 15/20 minute drive from the ranch. Nice hiking trails, picnicking, swimming and kayaking. This state park requires a parking permit.

2 minutes away at the end of our road. It was created from a volcanic eruption. Just drive past the park ranger shack and park in the parking lot then walk down the hill to the lake.

The lake itself is of volcanic origin and is considered to be a miniature version of Crater Lake in Oregon. The spring-fed lake is stocked with trout and is a favorite of anglers.
