A favorite stop of locals, bikers and tourists alike is a slice of Americana that's been serving burgers, brews, and vibrant live music since 1899. The story is written in the art on the walls. History in the making.

Petting Zoo, Gifts and Museum

In the Village
This spot is an American Treasure you don't want to miss. Time travel through Cerrillos' mining days at the Casa Grande Trading Post (and petting zoo). Owners Pat+Todd Brown have amassed an incredible collection of mining camp artifacts that gives a full picture of a miner's life in Cerrillos circa 1890-1950. In addition to collectable bottles, pocket knives, and tchotchkes, you can buy handmade turquoise jewelry from the same mines that inspired Tiffany's Turquoise famous blue box. (Yup, there was actually a Tiffany's mine in the Cerrillos Hills.)

Church

In the Village
If the church is open, don't miss a chance to view this classic example of a rural adobe church built by the Catholic priests of New Mexico. Next to the church, a lovely shrine garden built by locals to honor Mary is usually open to the public. Mass is celebrated on Sunday by the parish.
