The rooftop patio is an excellent place to enjoy the sunset and some tasty bites. I love the calamari - ask for the balsamic glaze on the size. Signature drinks, excellent wait staff and a tomahawk ribeye to die for.

Oh my heaven. Tiny little place - might not be able to get in, but you'll love the burgers and steaks. Simply wonderful.

This is the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Amarillo. Try to sit at the bar so you can see the cooks. You might see him throw an entire brick of bacon into the french fry bin. MMMMMM!

Award winning BBQ from a simply wonderful man and his wife. (She is a firey red head, so he named the spicy version of the BBQ sauce after her.) You are a lucky person if you get here for the mac and cheese or before they sell out.

I met a traveller from an antique land Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert… And on the pedestal these words appear: ‘My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings, Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!’
The pedestal near the monument also asserts that the visage of the king was destroyed by Lubbock football players after losing a game to Amarillo, which while plausible, is of course false.
