Founded in 1955, the Amarillo Zoo is a place to share the wonders of the animal world with kids of all ages. The beautiful 15-acre site is located in Thompson Park and features over 80 species of animals.

Our affordable zoo will delight every member of the family! It is great for small children, as they can walk the entire zoo themselves! Monkeys, lions, tigers, bears, and wandering peacocks are some of the favorites.
