Since the recent lava eruption in 2018 the park has gone under a dramatic change effecting many of the trails and sights. However, even with this change there is still so much to see. There are beautiful trails through the lush Hawaii forest that are just waiting to share its beauty with you.
It easily accessible from downtown Hilo and offers a remarkable view of water falling 80 feet over a lava cave. The mist that rises is famous for creating a consistent rainbow. Watch people dive off the cliffs or join in if you’re brave enough!
