If you're in NoDa and want some good Mexican food, you MUST go to Cabo. Book ahead of times on weekends because there can be a long wait, but the food is well worth the wait! Not only is the food great, but the staff is extremely friendly and attentive.

3201 N Davidson StIf you're in NoDa and want some good Mexican food, you MUST go to Cabo. Book ahead of times on weekends because there can be a long wait, but the food is well worth the wait! Not only is the food great, but the staff is extremely friendly and attentive.

This is truly a crown jewel of NoDa. It is a perfect hybrid of a bar (grab a drink at the bar, grab a beer from the fridge or sample their Sangrias), a store stocked with wine bottles, craft beer, apparel and assortment of snacks.
Not only do they have their own creative beers - think Saison, sours and IPAs but they also have an amazing space up here with a nice size bar, comfortable seating, a stage, a gallery wall and a shuffleboard table.

Besides great drinks, as you would imagine, this place really caters to dogs and does a great job at it. If your dog likes to play with other dogs you have to bring them here. It's like a playground for dogs with obstacles, slides, inside and out.

Only a few minutes from busy Uptown, the Historic Rosedale Plantation and its nine-acre landscaped grounds offer a glimpse at life in Antebellum Charlotte. Built in 1815, Rosedale was known as "Frew's Folly" because its owner, merchant Archibald Frew, lavished money on constructing the 4,600-square foot plantation home. Restoration work continues on the historic gardens. The plantation is known for its majestic flowering trees.
