Garden of Your Mind - House Rules
Thank you for choosing our cottage for your short-term rental. We hope you will find everything you need to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Our 5-star home is not a 5-star hotel, do not compare it to or treat it like one. We have some rules and things to be aware of during your stay.
First, our property is flood irrigated with water from the salt river on alternating Tuesdays (see schedule sheet). Because we practice 100% organic and natural pest control in the house and our gardens, it is not uncommon to see a few insects along the edge of the house during the irrigation. It's rare, but occasionally one makes its way into the home. If you see an insect in the house, and want to cancel, we will not refund any of your booking. If you have any aversions to insects please consider other accommodations. It is your responsibility to thoroughly read the listing before you book.
Second, we compost and ask that do as well, but it is not a requirement. We have placed a bucket outside the kitchen door where you can put compostable items. Most things can be composted, except meat, fish, plastic, chemicals and petroleum oils.

o Do not flush or put down sinks and, food, chemicals, paper towels, feminine products, oil or grease. Use the sink screens at all times.
