Everybody knows Tabasco. Take the opportunity to tour the home of Tabasco pepper sauce and learn how it is made. It's a great spot to spend a few hours in Cajun Country. Located about 10-15 minute drive from Maison Michon in Avery Island.

(Please Check as of 6-16-2020 it is still Closed due to COVID) Tabasco has a great new tour, and a resturant. Get tickets to Jungle gardens in one stop. There are always samples to taste, at the gift shop. We highly recomend our guest to see this while in New Iberia.

While visiting avery island you can tour the famous Tabasco Factory and after get lost in Jungle Gardens. Live oaks are abundant in this region as well as wild life, and you can often times spot a gator sun bathing in the water. This area is especially unique because it sits on top of a salt dome, making the topography very hilly. One of my favorite places to go in south Louisiana.
