Welcome to Lobscouser! Opened in 1987, our goal was to create a fine dining experience without the high pricing thereby giving both locals and visitors a place to eat or a place to dine..a place for a quick lunch or a leisurely dining experience. On April 15, 1987 the Lobscouser opened its doors to the public and has remained committed to its stated goals and objectives for over twenty years with a very loyal customer base. It is still a family operation with one remaining couple along with their children, nieces, and nephews. Please stop by and experience the food and atmosphere of Lobscouser for yourself! We are located at 337 High Street in Olde Towne, Portsmouth. We serve Lunch Monday-Friday from 11-2:30, Dinner Monday-Thursday 5-9, Friday & Saturday 5-10, CLOSED on Sunday.
