Kind of a dump, but worth checking out to see who is performing. Lots of up and coming acts and aging hipsters -- last year, for instance, I saw Marshall Crenshaw, Mathew Sweet and Jonathan Richman at Shank.

A grungy rock and roll club that's not for everyone, but we like it a lot. The marquee outside always tells you what's coming up. The programming is solid.
