Just across the street is a great place to go for a little bit of nature. Say hello to the Dartmouth geese, listen to live music Sunday's in the summer, or if you're feeling up to it you can follow a walking path all the way around Lake Banook.

Very pretty park, with ducks, geese, osprey and the occasional eagle. They ask that you please not feed the waterfowl- it's actually quite bad for them (especially bread). Great place for a walk, hangout, picnic. Nice gardens, much of it tended by local community. On the weekends, you may find music happening at the small bandshell.

Want to go for a nice walk and explore this charming neighborhood and city? Then you definitely HAVE to go to Sullivan’s Pond! It’s beautiful. It’s got nice gardens and it’s famous for 7 giant white geese who basically rule that pond. They even have their own YouTube channel and have over 1 million views which is really surprising. Dartmouth locals LOVE our beloved geese. Take a walk to Sullivan’s and meet them on your way to the Dartmouth waterfront and then catch the ferry to Halifax!
