Downtown San Luis Obispo is a great place to spend a few hours eating and shopping. Lots of great local restaurants and small boutique shops. It has a little bit of everything. Thursday nights is Farmers Market. They block off Higuera for about 5 blocks and have live music and food and local artists. It’s a fun time.

Part of what makes the (Downtown San Luis Obispo) shopping experience unique and such a joy are the locally owned businesses that give San Luis Obispo its charm.

Downtown San Luis Obispo has something for everyone. Whether your visiting Gum Alley, the Famous Apple Farm Restaurant, breweries or eating at any of the many restaurants, downtown SLO is a great day or evening place to go to.
