Tsui Sushi Bar is less than 3/4 of a mile heading north on Latona. They have all day happy hour which includes $5 house wine and $6 house sake. You’re on vacation. Enjoy!

Another favorite for us - a cheap but delicious Japanese Izakaya (pub). There is a limited menu but it is all fresh and delicious. I particularly love the Agedashi-dofu, even if you think you don't like tofu, this is worth trying as it is so good. The sashimi is very fresh and you get served these big pieces. There is also a tucked away seating area that is good for kids so take the family. And Japanese beer...what more could you ask for?

This place works for all - from the couple on a first date, to seasoned couples out for sushi, to young families. It's not loud and the different seating arrangements mean you can sit at the bar for an elegant night out or chow down on $2 edamame with your toddlers by the window.
