The Washington Shore Visitor Complex is located about 25 minutes away, and provides a view of the generators and fish ladders, as well as information about the local history.

Visit the hatchery and feed the trout. Check out Herman the massive sturgeon. Go watch the fish coming through the fish viewing area in the dam.

There is a Bonneville Dam interpretive center with displays, history and glass window views of the fish ladders. The fish hatcheries along with the giant Stergin pond are below the Dam from the road that access the Dam.
