Very small museum downtown, yet if you want a history on the region with artifacts, a good place to stop into if you are in Downtown Bend.

This is the old school building. Cost is donation, run by volunteers. Lots of local stuff piled into this building.

Not that long ago, Bend was still a logging and milling town. The cottage is located 2 houses from where one of the old mills operated until the 90's (this is why my family was able to live here...surprisingly this was not a sought after location). The museum is located in the original high school for Bend. A quick walk from the cottage across the river will allow you to step back in time a bit.
