A great place to go if you are here for a few extra days and want to get out of Brighton but not travel too far. There is a lovely flat promenade to walk on and the beaches are lovely and calm.

Cute little village with a few shops and bars. Beach is quiet and there's a great ice cream place just up the slope from the beach.

A beautiful stretch of coastline about an hour away and within walking distance of Brighton. There is a cycle way too. Great fish and chip shop in the village.

A well-kept secret for those local to Brighton...a quieter patch of beach with a very good hole-in-the-wall cafe and rest rooms. Free parking on the other side of the road - way to escape the crowds
