This hike is 1.2 miles up , it is technically easy although hard work on the way up. We generally go up and down the same way, although you can access the top from two different trailheads. The one marked on this map is the most commonly used, the other one is in the wailua homesteads on the backside of the sleeping giant. From the top there are great 360 views of the West side of the island. Afterwards go to Wailua Shave Ice

When you get the the bench keep going all the way to the top. The top is the best. It gets rocky but keep climbing!

Nice, fairly gentle hike that is close by. Views are wonderful with a small picnic area at the top.
