The place to swim. Look for the parking lot across from Acadia Mountain-there is a winding path down to the rocks! I would not take really small children here, as there is a drop off. I would take them to the beach!

This is a great family spot on a hot day. Enjoy the shallow, clean waters of Echo Lake. Part of Acadia National Park. You need a Park pass to park here. There are changing rooms and bathrooms right there. Bring a lunch with you. Lifeguards on duty.
