A stylish tropical oasis-meets-flotsam strewn island hut, Lost Lake evokes both the glamorous tropical escapism of 1930s Hollywood and the rugged nautical, island aesthetic of the world's first tiki bar, the original Don’s Beachcomber Cafe. Under a roof of lauhala, between walls of iconic banana leaf-print wallpaper, Lost Lake’s cocktail program pays homage to 80-plus years of exotic cocktail history with a menu of original tropical recipes and selections from the classic tiki canon. Decked out in tropical attire and well-versed in rum (and rhum, and ron), Lost Lake’s talented team of friendly and knowledgeable beverage professionals is ready to take you on a mini-vacation, by way of a wildly garnished tiki cocktail. Lost Lake is a three-time James Beard Foundation Outstanding Bar Program semifinalist (2016, 2017, 2018), Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards' Best American Cocktail Bar (2018), Time Out Chicago’s Bar of the Year (2018), one of Esquire’s Best Bars in America (2017), and Imbibe magazine's Cocktail Bar of the Year (2015).

There’s not too many places I’d suggest just to get a cocktail, but this is one. Award winning Tiki bar, great way to be transported during the colder months, about a half mile northeast.
Hip tiki bar with excellent cocktails and bar food. This is a great place to be transported on a wintry day.
A Tiki Bar from the same mixologist as Three Dots and a Dash downtown… really good music, really big strong drinks, and a long line on weekends after 5. Also rated one of the top 50 bars in the world.
Super super popular tiki bar in Logan Square serving elaborate tropical drinks individually sized or shareable by way of a punch or fish bowl. Don't underestimate the alcohol content, although you can't taste it's potency!
