청계천(淸溪川)은 대한민국 서울특별시 내부에 있는 하천으로, 한강 수계에 속하며 중랑천의 지류이다. Cheonggyecheon (Hangul: 청계천) is a 10.9 km (7.0 miles) long, modern public recreation space in downtown Seoul, South Korea.

청계천이 시작되는 세종로에 조성된 청계광장. 청계천 복원 시작지점인 동아일보사 앞에서부터 신답철교 사이로 연장160m, 폭50m, 총 면적 2천 106평의 규모로 조성되었다. 분수와 폭포, 청계천 미니어처, 산책로와 탐방로 등으로 꾸며져있고, 청계천 복원의 의미와 함께 만남과 화합, 평화와 통일을 염원하는 장소로 만들어져 있다.

Changgyeonggung (Palace) was built in 1483 by King Seongjong (the ninth king of the Joseon Dynasty) to take care of the wives of the preceding kings.

Open stream from Joseon period. This stream was restored after the war. It is a lovely walk especially in the evening times. The stream leads to Dongdaemun. Along the stream, there are sightseeing and famous markets.
