This is a square where there are the National Library , Municipal Theatre, and other buildings from colonial's time. Cinelandia is named after so many Cinemas used to be around this square. Nowadays there is only Odeon left. It is also a spot where they launch new Brazilian movies or host theatre's prizes

Onde está localizado o Theatro Municipal e outras obras arquitetônicas da Belle Époque. Há também estação para o novo trem, VLT, que leva até o Museu do Amanhã.
