One of the precious gems of Pasadena. You have seen it for years on The Rose Parade, it’s the building behind the cameras broadcasting the parade. This jewel is a must see for art museums. You can take the metro link Gold Line to Pasadena, memorial park and it’s a 3 or 4 block walk.

My favorite museum in LA is actually in beautiful downtown Pasadena. You will find a remarkable variety of 20th Century art such as Degas, Renoir, Picasso and Van Gogh. Wait til you see the quality of the works. It's a 50 minute drive but parking is easy once you get there. Tip: Treat yourself to a nice lunch at 'Il Fornaio' afterwards.

This museum features artwork and sculptures from Asia c 900, European art c 1400 - 1900, and contemporary and modern art. Their collection includes work from Degas, Rubens, Van Gogh, Monet, Renior, Cezanne, Rodin, Picasso, Matisse, Warhol, Lichtenstein, and many more.
