There will be a line but grab a magazine and relax. It will be worth the wait!Since 1961, Pancake Pantry has served baked goods and become a household name in Nashville. Children and adults alike frequent this bakery for the vibrant atmosphere and the sheer variety of pancakes. Situated in an old-style building with a red brick façade, the interiors are airy and well-lit and always bustling with guests. Try the award-winning sweet potato pancakes bathed in cinnamon cream syrup or the Caribbean pancakes bursting with tropical flavors like coconut and buttermilk. Other varieties include Cherry Supreme, Raspberry Delight and Smoky Mountain Buckwheat Cakes. Do not miss the signature Grill Cook’s Medley with Swiss and American cheeses. The desserts are complemented by light American snacks such as Tennessee Country Ham and guests can even design their own sandwiches. The children's menu serves items with quirky names like Bears in the Snow and Polka Dot Pancakes.
