Smaller but popular beach located North of downtown Barrie, away from the main streets. Best to drive in and bring your own food. Onsite parking is auto park, $10 an hour or $50 daily. Life guards on duty in the summer.

20 minutes drive on highway 93 to Blake Street and turn left. Go straight until you arrive.

Barrie's waterfront trail begins at Johnson's beach continuing along the waterfront for 5 km to the Southshore Community Centre on the south side of Kempenfelt bay. This trail is a favorite of local runners. Stunning sunsets backdropping the city. Sandy beach and swim area.

“A good bar to go with a group and watch the game. Not so loud that you won't be able to talk and not so quiet that you forget you're at a bar.”
