The New Mexico Museum of Art is an art museum in Santa Fe governed by the state of New Mexico. It is one of four state-run museums in Santa Fe that are part of the Museum of New Mexico. It is located at 107 West Palace Avenue, one block off the historic Santa Fe Plaza.

Another small downtown museum is the New Mexico Fine Arts Museum. It features great works by many New Mexican artists, including woodcuts by Gustav Baumann. Expansive collection of contemporary regional art & photography housed in an adobe building.

Superb Contemporary New Mexican art collection; located at the NW corner of the Plaza. Housed in a photogenic Adobe style building. Look for combo tickets that get you into several museums at a discount. Closed Mondays.
