This is the classic breakfast place that has every breakfast favorite on the menu. They also have a fairly extensive lunch menu. The menu itself is interesting as it is loaded with lots of stories and facts about Leadville history. A fun place to see all of the locals.

A local favorite, the Golden Burro is a Leadville tradition. Leadville would not be Leadville if the Golden Burro weren’t here! Since 1938 it has been voted “local’s favorite” over and over again, and has been featured in almost every national newspaper across the country at one time or another. It truly remains today as one of Leadville’s most famous icons. Fair warning, do not go here expecting a quick meal!
